Our mission

Our mission is to empower social enterprises and mission‑driven organisations by providing accessible, empathetic and expert legal and business support.

We do this by:

What we aim to achieve

Our objectives are to:

  • Provide specialised business support, including advice, training, mentoring and nurturing, that builds skills, knowledge, confidence and experience.

  • Deliver a coherent suite of products and services tailored to the real challenges facing social enterprises and the wider third‑sector ecosystem.

  • Offer accessible and affordable legal support, with particular expertise in the legal and governance issues affecting charities, social enterprises and community organisations.

A message from our founder:

Hi, I’m Karina Macleod, founder of Àrachas³ (and Àrachas Coaching). I’m really glad you’re here.

Àrachas was created from a simple belief: that legal, governance and business support should be accessible, affordable and genuinely centred on you.

I’ve spent over 20 years working across the private and third sectors, supporting people to build things that matter. Before moving into the third sector in 2010, I worked as a paralegal, completing a BA (Hons) in Law alongside specialist qualifications in Employment Law and in Wills, Trusts & Executries. That legal grounding now sits alongside my work as an Executive Coach and Mentor, and since April 2025, my studies for an MBA, which allow me to expand on the strategic support I can offer.

My vision for the Àrachas³ group is to create a space where people feel genuinely supported in their work. I want every organisation I work with to feel capable, connected and empowered, because when purpose‑led people thrive, the communities around them are stronger for it.
